Sultan Mosque

etegration | January 28, 2008 | 12:00 am

sultanmosque_1_final_tiny.jpg

With its massive golden dome and huge prayer hall, the Sultan Mosque is one of Singapore’s most imposing religious buildings, and the focal point of Muslims in Singapore. The mosque, designed by Denis Santry, was built in 1928.

Visitors are advised to dress conservatively as this is a place of worship. Skirts or trousers should be long and no sleeveless tops.

5D with a EF 15mm.

One shot every 60 degrees, 1 x nadir and 1 x zenith. This is a great setup and need little photos!

I’ve also taken some static shot the following day, they can be found here.

Secret Tunnel

etegration | January 2, 2008 | 12:00 am

tunnel_mirror_final_tiny.jpg

From http://tinyurl.com/29wj78

It has long been speculated that there are several tunnels and bunkers beneath the Battery, with some having direct access across the sea to Fort Siloso.

However, it was only in 2001 that officials from the National Parks Board (NParks) stumbled across 2 tunnels that have been forgotten and hidden by vegetation. In the same year, one of the guns that guarded the Labrador Battery was unearthed at the site of the Beach Road Camp during an excavation for road works along Nicoll Highway.

ITCoW - In The Course of Work is a website I maintained at http://www.itcow.com and contains some technical and IT stuffs and writeup. Check it out. ITCoW 360, this site, is a sub site used to maintain all panoramas shots.

Most of the 360 Pano are in DevalVR, although you can view them with just Quicktime installed, they will not be in fullscreen mode. Install the DevalVR plugin, it's just but a few seconds to download and install. Alternatively, there's at times, Flash version of the panos I release. Click on the respective icon to download the plugins.

Get DevalVR! Get Quicktime! Get Flash!
