My other comments
Demos show are all done by MS themselves i believe. Imagine mixing using Photosynth photos from handphone, p&s then some lomo maybe? then all the dlsr out there. i rather not watch the final image, it’s gonna be garbaged with no standard quality.
Then check out http://photosynth.net/
Other stuffs I’ve come to know is that people view panos at times, not on their PC (READ office hours!) thus Quicktime may not be feasible to them sometimes with IT Admins blocking or limiting installation of applications. Flash has been popular and most PCs have that installed. Photosynth requires yet more software installations.

Date/Time: Friday Jul 18, 10:00am – 9:00pm Venue: Level 10 Lee Kong Chian Reference Library in National Library Language: English Subject: Arts & Humanities Channel: Exhibitions Registration: Not Required The Legacy of Tan Kah Kee and Lee Kong Chian” exhibition (bilingual, in both English and Chinese) highlights the contributions of Tan Kah Kee and Lee Kong Chian to Singapore. Some areas of interests that will be explored in the exhibition include the makings of an entrepreneur, the philosophy of the two men’s strong belief and support for education, and the change of their political identity.
Both men were entrepreneurs, business barons and philanthropists, leaving their combined influence on Singapore for over a century. They were two of Singapore’s most successful entrepreneurs and millionaires, and with their vast fortunes, they were able to endow a multitude of social, cultural and educational institutions, many of which still thrive today. However, it is the fact that they made giving back to society a way of life that puts them in a class of their own when it comes to social philanthropy.
The exhibition is initiated by the National Library Singapore, jointly organised with the Tan Kah Kee Foundation, with the participation of Xiamen Library, sponsored by the National University of Singapore, OCBC and Auric Pacific Group Ltd and contributions from the Tan Kah Kee Museum (China), Furong Foundation of Nan’an, Johor Bahru Rubber Dealers’ Association, National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan and their affiliated Schools, Hwa Chong Insitution, Lam Ann Association, Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan, Rubber Trade Association of Singapore, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industries and other local institutions. – Source
