Site Update July 2003.
6/07/2003In the course of Work has been and is still a fun site i run and maintain on
a regular basis trying not be be a “me too” site. Then in order to cover some
cost of running this site, we have started offering hosting services, hosting
operations have since been transferred to
Ministryofhosting.
Well, take this as a basic once-in-a-while reflection on what I am doing to
ITCoW. Currently I have 3 articles in the writing, just have got no time to
finish them. Have been juggling between the Hosting business and a few other
sites like Delta-PNS,
TAportal and one upcoming
one.
So you think, how many sites can one admin at one time. That really puzzled
me at first too but as of now, I do admin on all those sites like installing
hacks, maintain them and update them with and without help. A good friend help
maintain Delta-PNS as we are in the web committee together. He’s also busy
maintaining his own Geeklog site @
Digital Xcess. Then
there’s other sites I frequent often like HWZ’s forum and a few other forums.
Recently, I have also acquired some SCSI stuffs (from a really kind man) that
I am eager to try out really soon, end of this month, 2 new motherboards will be
purchased, one to run these (HP NetRaid 3Si and 4 X 9 Gb 10,000 RPM SCSI hdd),
and the other to replace the old
MSI one I already have. I also did fly in a red Chieftec (Dragon series) all
the way from Xoxide and love
it. It’s been a year for this red rig I have. See the
gallery for all these hardware. I
just love taking photos of them and post them here. ok, I admit, I am a guy with
no life and just love anything techy.
Still the same, I often
CS and can be found
getting fragged at Khabal
servers or 4 news servers I and a few friends found that have WC3 hack
installed.
I guess ITCoW will still be around for a while as I like typing those
articles and it’s really encouraging to see people dropping me e-mails etc when
they have read the articles or when they have questions after they have read the
articles. Thanks for all those mails and do send more please! Do drop by the
forum too if you have
questions. No you do not have to register to post (but it’s encouraged) as I
find it cumbersome myself.
In the course of work, well, I have been in the current job for 2 years and
still going but am seriously on the lookout for new jobs to learn new stuffs but
the job market in I.T. has not been what you would call good.
So, till the next such update, enjoy this site as it’s totally free and free
of advertisments and a big thank you to all members who have sign up for a
hosting plan with MOH, it’ll keep this and other sites belonging to
etegration.NET going.
